A roof mount bar is generally used in an installation situation lacking a fascia board or when crown molding prevents attachment.
The bar can be used with either solid brass or chromated aluminum fascia brackets.
Our stainless steel bar stock is 304 stainless, bendable but stiff. It is ¼" thick x 1" wide in two lengths, 15½" and 17½". All holes in the top are .250 + or - .005 with a minimum of .200 from outside edge, 4 total. We provide 4 #12 1½" stainless steel wood screws. The slot at the bottom of the bar (1.5" x .325") provides a 1½" vertical adjustment. We supply a 1" x 5/16" stainless steel machine bolt with nut for installing the fascia bracket to the bar.
The bar provides a 4-3/4" bendable area for creating a longer down leg thus giving the ability to add more pitch to the gutter . A bar bender is available for rental with a $250.00 deposit. The bender allows you to bend the bar to various roof pitches. If the bender is returned to us with in 2 months in good condition, we will refund the $250.00 deposit.
